I really liked your story because it was sort of a comical twist on the average aliens invading Earth story. You did a good job with the first person point of view aspect also. I like that you incorporated the idea that the aliens think humans are harmful to themselves and 'stupid' and that there isn't fear between the aliens and humans.
I enjoyed this story because I felt that as a reader I connected to the characters. You set the story up well explaining many things in the beginning, so the latter portion made sense.
I think the story was good. The beginning helped with understanding some things towards the end like how the mom was acting strange because she was not arguing with the dad. I think there was good dialogue usage as well.
