A) Fios is my local area network that is connected to my house by a coaxial cable. I have 3 tv's, 3 laptops, 2 phones, wii, xbox, ipad, and a nintendo. All of these devices are connected to my wifi wireless.
B) I learned that wifi is more complicated than it seems. One OMG moment I had was when I learned that WIFI is only radio signals.
C) I would tell other people to be grateful that their parents are paying for WIFI. WIFI is more expensive than it seems to us kids, but there are some parents who struggle with paying for it.

  • On my local area network we have 4 computers, one tablet, one tv and 5 phones on the line.
  • What I've learned is about how important is it about what you do on the internet and that it can always be tracked.
  • I would tell people that it's not just a wire connecting it to your WIFI its a much more complicated than you think.

The devices on my Local Area Network is a Wii U, 3 phones,I pod, Amazon Alexa, 6 laptops, and an Apple tv. I thought it  was cool how wifi travels. It goes from towers, and travels to your home. If I could tell people about having a home network, I would  tell them that your network brings a cable in to your home. That cable connects to your router which brings wifi to your home.

The devices on my internet connection are 3 Samsung phones, 2 Apple iPhones, 1 Macbook Air, 2 desktops and 3 printers. I learned more about the connections between the cables and the wifi tower. I would tell other people that that ISP is basically your internet service provider and that your wifi is connected through a wifi tower.

A).I have a computer, 2 smart tvs, a wii, 5phones a tablet and a printer connected to the wifi either wired or wireless.
B). I learned that anything posted on the internet never gets deleted. It is saved somewhere in the world in a data base. I've also learned about how in depth those wifi terms of agreements mean. How they prohibit certain websites and allow superiors to supervise someones internet browsing.
C). People would need to know that wifi goes downwards so if you place your router at the highest point of the house, you get better signal. They would also need to know that there is a cable that enters your house that connects to your router, in my case an ethernet cable.

1.  explain your L.A.N. Local Area Network - all the devices on your internet connection.

On my local area network for my home, we have 3 cellphones, Mine, my mom's and my dad's (plus my sister when she is home from college). We have 2 televisions, the one in the living room and the one in my parent's room. Along with that we have 4 computers, my mom's laptop, my dad's laptop, my chromebook and a desktop.

2. reflect on what you learned about networks, did you have an OMG moment that you learned something new and interesting? if not, write about what you learned.

The thing that I learned that really surprised me was when we learned that the cloud wasn't just an abstract thing. I always knew it was real but I never really comprehended the fact that it was a real, physical thing.

 3. what would you tell other people that they need to know about having an ISP/Home network?

One thing I would tell others about having their own home network is that the internet is a real physical thing, and that everything you see or do is concrete and will really live forever.
