The City of Philadelphia has put in place the Clean and Green Initiatives with the hopes of improving the quality of living for residents in underserved neighborhoods. For my Capstone, I analyzed the Taking Care of Business Clean Corridors program. This program aims to provide job opportunities and keep the streets of Philadelphia clean. Alongside my project management team, we made it our plan to figure out how we can maximize the positive impact this program can make to change the lives of residents in the North Philadelphia area. Throughout my journey of applying the core values of Science Leadership Academy, I have found that making change takes a village that is willing to make continuous efforts.
