During my senior year in statistics the most memorable benchmark
was the last one, which was the study guide. This benchmark is my most
favorites due to the fact that it’ll help me in the following year with the
endeavors that I’ll be taking on. They study guide applies past math courses to
my future thus ultimately helping me and creating a guide throughout the class
Math 101. Since the class entails
statistics the math in the guide was based off of stats and the combination of
some algebra. The statistics part
consist of the following Probability & Simulations, Chi –Squared, Real number, Logic,
Equations, Correlation & Causation, Bi-variate Data and Observational
Studies. I learned various tolls
that I once did not comprehend such as the correlation and causation. Once
introduced to this term I was still unsure what this actually meant until
practice questions and mini quiz I found that Correlation is like domino affect one thing has to affect another to
have a correlation or relationship. In having to do the benchmark and
applying what I know all comes back to the core values SLA set up inquiry, research, collaboration, presentation and reflection. I researched my future college and what
course I’d be taking and what concepts I’d need to grasp in order to make my
study guide. Collaborated with my peers to exchange some ideas to help my Q4B
with the math tools needed for representation. Presentation I did I n a regular
word doc instead of any other applications because I wanted the raw math to be displayed
instead of a picture with some fragments a clear explanation was needed. Reflection
was overall me just looking at my work with some feedback in my meeting with Thompson
and actually looking over what I’ve done thoughtfully in my high school career.
In the time of 2011, where coffee is god, where 80s/retro music reinvent’s the style of spring and fall with bulky sweaters and no care attitude that takes over the airways with “fight the power of the prepster “ defining the American youth, where v necks and large words get used such as cultivate, Ablutophobia & Haussmannize are accompanied with sly insults making the normal kid say “what!” teenagers blow up the population with condescending phrases therefore making assholes born and no more traces of friendliness available in the mellow pastime of the “Cookie cutter lifestyle”, where the an average sixteen year old can respond on the changing fashions of Monet with a French dialect while cheap coffee is being sipped in the mouth of the future, where in any other circumstances a child would be worried about the latest movie but, no now time has changed; Asshole have taken over the population, where smoking a cigarette and chi tea plus not going green a stigma of pure disgrace young innocent teenage minds has morphed into the 2011 frame here I stand here eighteen years of life having a large grasp on the person I am today and where I want to be instead of frantically running around like a chicken with my head cut off I’d regained my own internal being.
During the 2and quarter of art was the most challenging of the two semesters so
far. In
the first quarter I had a clear objection and executed it well. But in
going into this quarter I
had no idea what to do or where to begin. I started
off with the journal to pinpoint my ideas
For my senior piece but had a string
of uncertainties and unclear thoughts. In establishing I
had no idea I thought
I do a complex of variations of art and see where that would take me.
With camera in hand I began taking
picture after picture to find some inspiration. In taking
photos I found it and
learned some Photoshop tutorials to help enhance my artwork. After
several tutorials and directions later I transformed the photos to the best of its pixels. Then
from there I transformed a photo into canvas to use model paint to enhance the texture.
This quarter I had no idea what to do in not knowing that I knew exactly what to do and
made variations of art that took me to a whole new height.

Etienne
Geoffroy Saint-Hilarie once said “Nature ... tends to repeat the same organs in
the same number and in the same relations, and varies to infinity only their
form. In accordance with this principle I shall have to draw my conclusions, in
the determining the bones of the fish's skull, not from a consideration of their
form, but from a consideration of their connections.”
Sanit-Hailarie
derived this quotes from his theory on animals sharing the same characteristics
regardless of an animals origin. He made several comparisons with animal’s
connection opposed to their connection to one another.
Etienne Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire
a profound French naturalist created the principle unity of composition. In
1772 Etienne came into this world and impacted forevermore the way we look at
the modification of animals overtime.
The Herbet Spencer, Darwin, Patrick Mathew and many more wouldn’t have
based there theories on the evolution of life if he didn’t pave they way.
Etienne took over the early
1800s with his theory then later Darwin evolved his theory to conclude natural
selection many decades later. In giving him full credit is ignoring his early
influence Etienne Geoffroy Saint-Haire who was his professor.
The
concept of an animal forming the same elements sparked a controversial impact
in the 1800s. In actually believing that animals shared the same features
baffled the unknowing scientific world. Etienne friend Curve heated over large
misconceptions that lead to there ending friendship.
