The thing that i found most fun about this project, was coincidentally the same thing i thought was the most difficult, and that was the fact that there were so many different possibilities. It was very fun to see how different events related to one another, and how changing one could set off this long domino effect about all of history.
The most interesting fact that i faced was that there was this man, and his name was Aaron Burr, and he liked to go around challenging presidents to duels and things of that nature. He was a really cool guy, and he wasn't afraid of anything.
It was fun to see how just the action of Aaron Burr doing something, granted shooting someone, but still, it was interesting to be able to explain how it could push events forward or backward, or change the whole focus of an area. These systematic changes allowed a whole new system to rise up, and everything to change in ways that today we think would be absurd, but in another world, could be normal. Just one decision can completely change the way that history takes it's course, and can allow many things to change.
This project could be improved if i added more documents, and spent more time looking into the details of what happened between the point of divergence and now. I feel like it had to be rushed at some points in order to meet restraints such as time. If i had to do the project over, i would probably spend more time creating my primary sources, and make them look more realistic, and not just like copy pastes or direct words of it, but make it look like the actual resource.
Quarter 3 history benchmark reflection
My group chose this topic because we saw the important presence that America had in the world, and we knew that America had been through many events that determined the morals and values the country was founded on, and we decided to explore those more in depth and analyze the events, and their effect on the country.
We chose this form of presentation because it was the most direct way for us to deliver our message. We wanted to show people what the events were about in video format, and also be able to write about them to teach both auditory, and visual learners, and the website seemed to be the most direct, efficient way to do that.
We ran into trouble when it came to doing things like collaborating, and making sure that we were all on the same page about everything. It took some talking to explain to one another what we thought the project should be about, and where we should take it.
Everything in the end, ended up going very well for the project. The videos came out as i expected them to, and the analysis of the events went equally well, and overall this is an educational piece of work that I, and my group, are very proud of.
If we had it to do over, i feel as though we would have found better filming locations, even though space was rather limited, and used a better quality camera and editing system, but we did the best we could with what we had, and regardless i am still very proud of the work my group produced.
I learned a lot about history and some small details that i did not think were important before about events, that fit together in the whole and came out in the end to actually mean a lot. I also learned where the politically correct line is, and got some practice in coming close to that line to push the bounds, but still being responsible enough not to cross the line and cause problems.
Our Brost on "City upon a hill" In bronacular
A brodells upon a hill.
The bronely way to brahvoid this shipwreck and to brovide for our bro-sperity is to follbro the counsel of madden, to do justly, to love mercy, to walk bro-ly with our Brod. We must party together in this frat as one bro. We must entertain each other in brotherly broffection with natty ice and madden. We must upbrold a bromiliar bromerce in all madden losses and other unbroly conduct. We must delight each brother, make brothers bronditions our brown brojyce brogether. Loose brogether, laybro brogether, and suffer brogether. Always having brofore our eyes, our bromission and brommunity in the party, our bromunity, as bros of the same frat. Bro shall we keep the bro-unity of the bro, and the bond of madden. The lord will be our bro (broseiden, king of the brocean.) and delight to party among us, as his bros, and will brommand, a bro-blessing upon us in all our games, bro that we will see bro more of his brodome, brower broodness, and bruth, than formerly we have been broquainted with. We will find that the COD of the internet is among us, when a bros worth of two six packs shall be able to pwn a thousand noobs. When he shall make us party and bro, that bros shall talk of broceeding botations, The cod makes it like Brohio; We must brosider that we shall be as a Brodells upon a hill, the eyes of all bros are on us, and… Tl;dt, broever, we shall brummarize.
All bros must bro together in the same frat in order to enjoy the broness of their natty ice and games of madden and ultimate Frisbee, the life of the bro must be always brogether, and never bropart. If a bro will work with his fellbro bros, then he shall have brocess, however if a bro loses touch with his bromances, that bro shall lack the brobility to broceed. If all bros stick together, we will have as many good parties with natty ices, madden, Frisbee, and plenty of noobs to pwn, as there are affliction shirts in brodells, hence to say, we will be like a brodells upon a hill.

Dennis Mawson's Election Day Interview
Interviewee: I would like to see the dirtiness of campaigning changed. I feel that candidates attack each other and do all of these sorts of mud slinging far too often mess with the campaign and make it something it shouldn’t be.
Me: What was the most memorable campaign ad that you have encountered?
Interviewee: The most memorable campaign I have seen has been for he democrat Brendan Boyle (she then pointed to her shirt with his name on it.)
Me: Are you always sure of whom you are going to vote for when you walk into the booth or are you still deliberating?
Interviewee: Well usually I stand out and encourage people to vote, no matter who it is for, but I already have my mind made up one way or another and I show support for my candidate as much as possible.
Me: What impact do you feel that your vote will have on the election?
Interviewee: I feel that my vote and my support of my candidate and trying to get everyone else to vote will help Boyle to become elected and hopefully to get him elected.
Me: Did you learn about voting in school? If yes, did that impact your willingness to vote today?
Interviewee: I did learn about voting in school. We learned mostly about how the president is elected, things like that. We talked a little as we got older about the importance of voting, and I really took it to heart. That’s why I come out every election and show support and always cast my vote.
