Negative/Positive Space Cut Out
Negative Space is the space that makes up an image. When you take out an object from an image, what's left is the negative space (the background).
To find negative space in my image I looked at the image and separated it into two parts, the actual bird it self and the background.
An artist can imagine every single part of a picture and create an image that unites all parts beautifully.
I think negative space can enhance your image if you want to do something different with your drawings. Being able to separate the background from the image can give you leeway to create and change different things within that image
