My ISP (Internet Service Provider) is Verison. My internet comes through a wireless modem. Which then gives me access to Wi-Fi in my house. The device that are connected my internet are two laptops and a iPod.My internet goes through the Modem and to the Wireless Router and the Wi-Fi allows the internet to connect to my devices.
I learned that there is whole entire chain system that allows me to connect to my internet or any other internet connection. Internet just doesn't appear it travels from one thing to another to reach your devices. For example, you need an ISP who has to connect a modem or another device which needs to connect to another router and then connects to the devices.
I would tell other people to know how much they are paying for their ISP per month and per year to find out the total cost. This can help them decide if they are getting a good deal for their money.

My ISP(internet service provider) is Comcast. The internet that I have comes into my home by cable wire. Devices that I have connected to my internet are: home computer, two laptops, and printer. The most things that we learned were new to me so i have learned a lot of new stuff.

My Local Area Network is comcast, and all the devices on it are , All of our cell phones with Wifi, My laptop & My mother and fathers. Our Desktop, and our x-box. Something that I Learned about networks is that everything your put on the internet can be seen. i actually watched A OMG moment on the movie Cyberbull. The movie was about a girl who got her first computer, and how she created a " Clicksters" (facebook) Page, and how she got bullyed. But her mom could see everything she was doing on her page. 
  One thing that i would tel people about there networks is to get a hard password on them. Other wise people could hack into your network and run up your bill.

My land area network is connected to everyone within a two block raduis from my house, which is really inconvient, and the reason why my internet is so slow. for some reason, I also don't have wifi at all, so I need to use my neighbors. Cavalier is probably not my favorite internet providers; so I would have to say that if I had my choice I would switch to Verizon. It is really fast, reliable, and it is private- you do not have to share your connection, as apposed to Cavalier. 

On my land line I have both my phone and internet. So whenever you use the house phone the internet stops working, and for some reason java never works on my computer; even though it has been installed three times;so that is a problem.

All in all my internet/phone sevrvice is alright, it could be better; but it could be worse.

An OMG moment was when I figured out that Reseting the modem isn't going to fix everything. An LOL moment was when I noticed how simply complicated the process of getting the internet was.                                                   


Some advice to people who know nothing about the internet I would say; if nothing is loading don't keep clicking it over and over- That makes it load SLOWER!!

The internet comes into my house via cable wire because my I.S.P (Internet Service Provider) is Comcast. My internet costs around $50/month. This means that it costs $600/year. I have numerous devices connected to my network through my wireless router. Connected to my network is two laptops, an Xbox and Playstation, a desktop, and a cellphone on occasion.
