My element is Neon the atomic number is 10. My element was discovered in London in 1898 by Sir William Ramsay and Morris W. Travers. Neon is inert and has no uncharged compounds.Neon is very rare on Earth but is very common in our solar system. Neon can be used in advertisement signs and in neon lamps. I decided to use the Neon Spectral Lines which are the lines that are visible from Neon atoms. I first started by doing some research about the element of Neon, then I decided to do the Neon Spectral Lines. From there I started printmaking. If I did this again I think it would be interesting to try to do different colors for the lines which would show in a better way the actual Spectral Lines. My favorite part was the printmaking, I loved using the paint and I loved that I could use my creativity during printmaking.
